• What does your $300 Membership Provide?
• Voting privileges:

1. To set direction and focus of the CPAA
2. To elect the CPAA Directors which will be empowered to operate the CPAA

What does your $300 Membership Provide?

• Acceptance of a “Professional” Code of Conduct

This allows the CPAA Member to market themselves to their existing and potential sponsors in a manner that:

The sponsor will know what to expect and how you will conduct yourselves at all times based on your CPAA membership and the implied Code of Conduct

• Training available to help the member reach their goals in the following areas:

1. Promotion (Self, product, series and sponsors)
2. Public speaking / Public relations
3. Business planning
4. Marketing and sales
5. Training will take the form of seminars and workshops

• Provide Opportunities to Participate in Special Events:

1. These events will combine efforts in conservation, education, promoting the sport to children and other groups
2. These opportunities will allow our members to be seen in a high profile positive manner by the community and industry leaders
3. They will also help to separate the CPAA Member from the average tournament angler

• A voice in what tournament series may be “endorsed” by the CPAA.  Series that meet our agreed criteria such as:
  
  
  1. Size of Fields
  2. Number of Days
  3. Locations
  4. Prize Money
  5. Format
  6. Fish Care

• It is our plan to have a “High Traffic” site that will include such items as:
  
  
  1. Tournament Results (all series)
  2. News
  3. Kids Area
  4. Featured Angler

• Each member will be given their own “Angle Profile” page, including pictures, results, sponsors and more...
  
  
• A voice in directing the CPAA Board in their dealings with the OCFC, Industry Leaders, Tournament Directors and the Government as required

• The CPAA will ensure that the local media is notified when the CPAA is participating in or organizing an event, whether a tournament or a charity event
   

What does the CPAA Expect?

The CPAA will expect our Members to fulfill the following commitments:

• Strictly adhere to the Code of Conduct

• Participate in CPAA approved events such as, but not limited to:

1. Meetings
2. Promotions, community and charity events
3. Designated tournament series

• Support the ideals, beliefs and goals of the CPAA

• Promote the CPAA and affix the CPAA logo to their tournament shirts and wear it with pride
